JOHN C. ROBINSON, age 89 of Waseca died on Monday, July 13, 2009 at Lake Shore Inn in Waseca.

Born on March 23, 1920 in Waseca County, Minnesota he was the son of John and Alvena (Forberg) Robinson.  He attended school in Waseca and following his education, he served in the U.S. Army.  He married Genevieve Pirkl on June 9, 1941.  John worked as an electrician and later was a truck driver hauling gravel.  He enjoyed motorcycles, walking, and rode bicycle until he was 88.

He is survived by two daughters, Betty Dardis of Sioux Falls, SD and Margaret Robinson of Minneapolis and three grandchildren.  He is also survived by one sister, Ida Larson of Waseca.  He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca with Rev. Dan Doering officiating.
