BONNIE G. LEWIS, age 87 of Waseca, died on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Waterville Good Samaritan Center.
Born on September 8, 1923 in Janesville, Minnesota she was the daughter of Oscar and Frances (Sershen) Fitzloff. She attended school in rural Waseca County before graduating from Waseca Central High School. Bonnie married Donald Lewis on December 26, 1945 at St. John Lutheran Church in Waseca. She was employed at the E.F. Johnson Co. in Waseca for over 20 years. Bonnie later married Melvin Jeddeloh on May 9, 1990 at Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, sewing, and collecting dolls. Bonnie was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Melvin Jeddeloh of Waseca; sons, Jeffrey Lewis of Waseca, Jerry (Suzanne) Lewis of Waseca, and Brian (Susan) Lewis of Falcon Heights; step-sons, Larry (Ann) Jeddeloh of Minneapolis, Terry (Laurie) Jeddeloh of Denver, CO, and Rick (Kirsten) Jeddeloh of Mankato. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Bethany Lewis, Rob Thomas, Sara Jeddeloh, Ben Jeddeloh, Katie Jeddeloh, and Clara Jeddeloh; and two great grandchildren, Ethan Thomas and Morgan Jeddeloh. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband-Donald, and one sister.
Visitation will be held at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals inWaseca on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 4-7 PM and continue on Wednesday, one hour before services at the church.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca with Minister Barbara Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca. |
