SALLY LENN (YOUNGBERG), age 60 of Waseca, died unexpectedly on Sunday Jan. 22, 2012.  She was the beloved daughter of Mildred and Manley Youngberg.

For over 19 years as the Activity Director at Colony Court, Sally enriched the lives of hundreds of residents.

Beyond work, she delighted in many interests, however, she cherished her friends and family most of all. Sally’s genuine gifts of living in the moment, purity of faith, unconditional love and her light illuminated the spirits of all who knew her.  As children we are taught angels live in the sky. Yet, sometimes they can live among us. Thankfully, we all knew Sally was of those exceptional beings.  She shared God’s goodness with everyone she met and everything she did.

Sally lives on in the memories of her children, Krista of Dexter, Sarah of Eugene, OR, and Andrew of Waseca; former husband Carey of Waseca; her precious grandchildren Blythe and Paige; her sisters Susan Johnson of Eugene, OR, Jane (Kurt) Carlson of Rochester, Laurie Rhyner of Eugene, OR, brother Donald (Clare) Youngberg of New Haven, CT, along with 11 nieces, nephews, and innumerable friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Mildred and Manley Youngberg, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held at the Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca on Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 3-7 PM and will continue for one hour before the service at the church on Sunday.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Grace Lutheran church where she was most recently an active participant.  Interment will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
