IVADELL E. KRAUSE, age 87 of Waseca died Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at the Lake Shore Inn Nursing Home in Waseca.

Born in Waseca County, Minnesota on September 26, 1920, she was the daughter of Alvin and Gertrude (Frisk) Lewer. She attended school in rural Waseca County and graduated from Waseca High School in 1938.  She then went on to attend Mankato State.  Ivadell married Allan Born on September 25, 1941 at Vista Covenant Church.  She worked at the E.F. Johnson Co. in Waseca from 1959 until her retirement.  Following Allan's death in 1975, Ivadell married Walter Krause on February 12, 1977 at Evangelical United Methodist Church in Waseca.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening, puzzles and playing games with her grandchildren.  She was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church, the church circle, and Our Gang all in Waseca.

She is survived by four children, Gary (Anna) Born of Waseca, JoAnn (Bob) Olson of Minneapolis, Arlin (Carol) Born of Waseca, Bruce (Barb) Born of Owatonna; nine grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by two sisters, Evelyn Peterson of New Richland and Vera (Dick) Randall of Springville, NY; one brother, Donald (Beth) Lewer of Washington, TX; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and one step brother-Clifford Hegstrom.  

Visitation will be held at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca on Sunday, December 2, 2007 from 4-8 PM and continue on Monday, one hour before services at the church.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 3, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at Evangelical United Methodist Church in Waseca with Rev. Neil Westby officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
