MAXINE R. KLINGER, age 87 of Waseca died Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at the Janesville Nursing Home.
Born in Waseca, Minnesota on March 29, 1920, she was the daughter of Walter and Minnie (Neitzel) Weckwerth. She attended school in rural Waseca County. She married Carlos Klinger on March 10, 1941 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca. Over the years, Maxine worked at numerous places in Waseca including Birdseye, Red Owl, Waseca Memorial Hospital as well as the Yellow Mushroom. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and visiting with friends and family. Maxine was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca and the 29ers.
She is survived by five children, Raymond (Karen) Klinger of Mankato, Linda Klinger of Waseca, Ralph Klinger of Maplewood, Clifford (Mary) Klinger of Minneapolis, and Willard Klinger of Waseca, and three grandchildren, Blake (Micah) Klinger, Amanda Klinger, and Samuel Klinger. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother-James Weckwerth.
Visitation will be held at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca on Friday, November 23, 2007 from 4-8 PM and continue on Saturday, one hour before services at the church.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca with Rev. Terry Quick officiating. Burial will follow at Wilton Cemetery in Waseca County. |
