DARLEEN E. HURLIMANN, age 79 of Waseca died on Monday, July 18, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Valley City, North Dakota.

Born on January 29, 1932 in Waseca, Minnesota she was the daughter of Herman and Esther (Kelm) Jellum.  She attended school in Waseca.  Darleen was employed at Herter’s and Brown Printing Co. before retiring from the E.F. Johnson Co. in Waseca.  During her retirement years she worked part time at Hy-Vee.  Darleen enjoyed playing cards and bingo and the Minnesota Twins.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca, the VFW, American Legion, and Eagles Auxiliaries and the Waseca Area Senior Citizens.

She is survived by one son, John (Bobbie Jo) Hurlimann of Valley City, ND; and two grandchildren, Scott and Tanya.  She is also survived by one brother, Bob (Ruth) Jellum of Waseca; one sister-in-law, Donna Jellum of Waseca; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Walter Jellum.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca with Rev. Roger Haug officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodville Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, one hour before services at the church.
