SHIRLEY A. GRUNDHOFFER, age 68 of Waterville died Sunday, December 2, 2007 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Born September 11, 1939 in at the family’s home in rural Morristown, Shirley was the daughter of Clinton and Harriet (Wallace) Fuller.  Following her graduation from Waterville High School in 1958, Shirley went to work first for E.F. Johnson Co in Waseca, and later as a nurse’s aid in Faribault.  Shirley married Robert Grundhoffer in Montgomery, MN on February 11, 1961.  Together they moved to Waterville, and she returned to work with the E.F. Johnson Co.  Shirley loved helping people whenever she could, and she enjoyed reading, shopping, creating home remedies, and hand-painting dishtowels for her friends and family.

Shirley is survived by her husband Robert of Waterville; two sons, Rory Grundhoffer of Waseca, and Troy Grundhoffer of Owatonna; her mother, Harriet Fuller of Fairgrove, MO; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dale Fuller of Fairgrove, MO, and Duane Fuller of Willard, MO; and two sisters, Sandra Davis of Crane, MO, and Norma Buckley of Las Vegas, NV.  She was preceded in death by her father; one son, Kirk Grundhoffer; and one brother, Robert Fuller.

Visitation will be held at the Prosch-Dennis Funeral home in Waterville on Thursday, December 6, 2007 from 4-8 PM, and will continue for one hour before services at the church.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 7, 2007 at the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Waterville, with Rev. Cindy Kennedy officiating.  Burial will follow at Sakatah Cemetery in Waterville.
