HAZEL AMELIA DOMONOSKE, age 94 of rural Waterville died on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Born on December 24, 1916 in Cordova Township, Le Sueur County, Minnesota she was the daughter of Phillip and Louise (Krueger) Wiethoff.  She attended school in rural Le Sueur County.  Hazel married Fred Domonoske on November 23, 1938.  Together they lived and farmed in Le Sueur County.   Hazel also worked as a cook at the Le Center Nursing Home for 17 years.  She enjoyed quilting, gardening, hooking rugs, traveling, and fishing.  She was a former member of the Cannonville Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son, Don (Judy) Domonoske and one daughter-in-law, Karon Domonoske all of rural Waterville; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.  She is also survived by one sister, Doris Schmidt of Morristown.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one brother, and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at the Prosch-Dennis Funeral Home in Waterville on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 3:00 PM.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the time of services at the funeral home.  Private burial will be held at a later date at the Lake Gorman Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to the Lake Gorman Cemetery Association.
