ORLOUE RUTH BRECK, age 81 of Waseca died on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the Janesville Nursing Home.

Born on October 12, 1929 in Blue Earth County, Minnesota she was the daughter of  Louis and Rosina (Tarno) Blasing.  She attended rural country school near Smiths Mill before graduating from Janesville High School in 1948.  Orloue married Joel N. Breck on February 25, 1952 at Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca.  She worked as a waitress in Janesville and Waseca and later at the E.F. Johnson Co. in Waseca for many years until her retirement in 1991.   Orloue enjoyed gardening, fishing and was an avid fan of the Minnesota Twins.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca.

She is survived by four children, Connie (Steve) Bouchillon of Greensboro, North Carolina, Robert (Joette) Breck of Waseca, Judy Breck and Kurt Karschnik of Mountain Lake, and Cindy Breck of St. Clair.  She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Barbara Peterson officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church.  Burial will be at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.  Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca is handling arrangements.
