MARVYL ANN BOETTCHER, age 81 of Waseca died on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Lake Shore Inn in Waseca.
Born in Blue Earth, Minnesota on April 17, 1929 she was the daughter of Don and Pearl (Weber) Kinsley. She was the oldest of six children and attended St. Theodore Catholic School in Albert Lea before graduating from Albert Lea High School. She married Bruce Boettcher of Wells in 1948 and they started their family of four children in Minneapolis. She worked at Honeywell Manufacturing before becoming a full time homemaker. They later moved to Matawan where they resided for 25 years before moving to Waseca in 1990. Marvyl had a passion for reading and doing crossword puzzles. She also had a love of animals which she passed on to her children.
She is survived by her three daughters, Debra Gaines of Le High Acres, FL, Sheryl (Merle) Adams of Waseca, and Pamela Buker of Waseca; grandchildren, Melanie (Mark) Anderson of Owatonna, Jason Boettcher of Owatonna, Angela (Tim) Thissen of Waseca, Ashley Buker of Waseca and Corey Nelson of Waseca and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Nancy Kinsley of Golden Valley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son-Thomas, and four siblings.
Private funeral services will be held. Burial will be in Woodville Cemetery in Waseca. |
