ALEXANDER P. BERG, age 22 of Waseca died on Friday May 21, 2010 in Steele County, Minnesota.

Born on April 14, 1988 in Anoka, Minnesota he was the son of Perry and Renata (Tomaides) Berg.  He graduated from Waseca High School in 2006.  Alex had worked at various locations as a cook.  He enjoyed cooking, being outdoors, spending time with his friends and his dog, “Dyson.” 

He is survived by his parents, Perry and Renata Berg of Waseca; one sister, Niki Berg of Minneapolis; maternal grandparents, Milos and Jarka Tomaides of Minneapolis; and paternal grandparents, Agnes and Peter Schue of Gaylord and Mark Berg of Seattle.  He is also survived by aunts and uncles, Milos and Heather Tomaides of Minneapolis, Gregory Berg and Deb Kirby of Minneapolis, and Guy and Kathryn Berg of Woodbury.

In lieu of a public funeral and burial, a private service will be held for the family.  A public visitation will be held at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca on Monday, May 24, 2010 from 4-8 PM.
