PATRICIA "PAT" A. BAHR, age 66 of Waseca, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.

Born in Mankato on July 14, 1943, Pat was the daughter of Owen and Evelyn (Jones) Thomas.  Pat attended school in Mankato and graduated from Mankato High School in 1961.  On December 29, 1962 she married Roger Bahr at the Federated Church in Cambria, Minnesota.  A lifelong resident of Southern Minnesota, Pat enjoyed bird-watching, crocheting, quilting, and traveling to visit her children and grandchildren.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church-Wilton, and according to her children, "was the best mom in the whole world."

Pat is survived by her husband, Roger of Waseca; three sons, Steven Bahr of Albany, NY, Jeffrey (Kim) Sosalla-Bahr of Omaha, NE, and Dwayne (Ali) Bahr of Sturtevant, WI; one daughter, Sherry Bahr (special friend Jack Heil) of Maple Grove; five grandchildren; two brothers, Stan (Barb) Thomas of LeSueur, and Lon (Linda) Thomas of Mankato; and one sister, Barb (Dick) Volkmer of Janesville.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 4-7PM on Monday, June 21, 2010 at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca, and will continue for one hour before services at the church on Tuesday.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church-Wilton with Rev. Glenn Korb officiating.  Interment will take place at a later date.
